Greetings friends and neighbors. My name is Christopher Hailey and I'm asking for your vote for Sheriff of Mecklenburg County. Building on more than 23 years of experience in the criminal justice field, I've consistently demonstrated the kind of bold leadership necessary to effectively serve and protect the citizens of Mecklenburg County.
As your Sheriff, my pledge will be to put the politics aside and focus on advancing the agenda set by the citizens of our county. I will embrace fresh ideas and new technologies while combining those ideas with proven leadership and experience. Below are the core focus areas of my campaign:
COOPERATION & COLLABORATION -
Develop mission critical programs designed to engage and encourage citizens, business community leaders and sheriffs
deputies to get more involved in the community while strengthening ties with municipal police departments.
EDUCATION & TRAINING - Work
with local community colleges to train and update deputies in the latest law enforcement technologies.
PREVENTION & REHABILITATION -
Review and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of rehabilitation and prevention programs; ensuring that all
taxpayer funds are used wisely.
